The Agartha Tesseract
The debut album from Zdiar is an amazingly atmospheric and fascinating progressive rock/melodic rock album with a mixture of synth/electronic tracks and pseudo-orchestral pieces taking you on a trip through the mythical land of Agartha.
Being somewhat a ‘concept’ album this is classic contemporary progressive rock. Although it is mostly instrumental this album manages to convey a sense of travel, atmosphere and emotion which is often forgotten by others instrumental works.
Style
Encompassing synthscapes, pseudo orchestral tracks, sampled guitar, some fine percussion programming and expert playing this album always surprises, creating a series of musical landscapes to engage you in your musical travels
